The Commander Cat 7.9, Luxury Pontoon / Day Boat, was developed to enhance the finer points of the twin hull interaction with the elements.

The Hull and Deck are fully hand laid utilising Modern Laminates including Stitched Biaxial Cloths and Unidirectional Fibres moulded over high density foams to construct a strong but light weight shell then complimented with an engineered structure.

The Hull is fitted with Sandwich constructed GRP bulkheads. The bulkheads are fully glassed to the hull and attached to the deck with reverse flanges. This then provides individual and watertight compartments. The longitudinal stringers divide the two hulls and stiffen the tunnel area. The tunnel also has additional layers added to the boats skin for added strength.

The Deck is similarly constructed making connection with hull and floor via Sandwich GRP stiffening. This method of construction allows for continuity of strength to be carried up the side of the boat.

The Luxury Pontoon / Day boat is a great family and friends outing boat. A BBQ, a play on the beach or a cruise around. Very easy and comfortable for family get togethers.

Three marine grade batteries fitted to vent lockers. One fully integrated accessory switching panel, dash mounted. One battery management switch panel with VSR’s. One set of port, starboard and all round white navigation lights. Deck lighting. Wood grain dash. Fusion Marine stereo/cd with four marine speakers. Stern light, electric flush toilet, 65 litre fridge, 12 volt fresh water pump. Two Aft bilge pumps with high water alarms.

Two foam filled collision voids forward of the collision bulkhead. Under floor water tight compartments. Independent fuel supplies. Emergency start and charging systems. Non skid patterns moulded into deck.

Includes two of each; docking lines, fenders, oars. Four life jackets. A single v-sheet, mirror, bucket and torch.

Two 130 litre fuel tanks, constructed from integral grp (meets Lloyds and USL requirements) or stainless. Two deck fillers and breathers. Fuel rated delivery hose to two independent stern mounted fuel filters. Two emergency shut off valves.

Twin hydraulic stainless steel rams & helm pump.
